Distrust of other people pushes people towards a secret mental state. And that is bad thinking. Then he engages in an external physical activity. That is to find fault. But Islam is determined to keep human massage in a clean and pure environment by giving both inner and outer aspects at the same time.

For this reason, in addition to forbidding the holding of bad ideas, he also forbade looking for the next fault. Because this misconception is the main reason for finding fault.

In fact, every human being has an honor and dignity. It cannot be justified to find out his faults and sever his dignity and expose his hidden affairs to the public. No one should be involved in any guilt or sin on his own. As long as it is kept secret, it is completely inappropriate and undesirable for someone to reveal it.

Abul Haysam, the court writer of Hazrat Uqba Ibn Amer (RA) said, I said to Uqba Ibn Amer: I have some neighbors, they drink alcohol, I want to call the police and arrest them. He said: No, do not do that. Explain to them, advise them, exhort them. He said: I have forbidden them much, but they do not listen. In this situation, what else can be done except calling the police and arresting them? He said: No, sorry for you! You don't have to do that. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say that the man who kept someone's secret secret did not reveal it, as if he had revived a living person in his grave.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) considered looking for the secret faults of the people as one of the characteristics of the hypocrites. And the hypocrites are those who believe with their mouths, but their hearts do not believe. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) harshly criticized these people in front of the people. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stood on the pulpit and called out in a loud voice, "O you who have accepted faith and Islam with your mouth, but faith has not reached their hearts." Do not harm the Muslims. And don't look for their secret faults. Because whoever seeks the secret faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will find his faults. And Allah will humiliate and disgrace him whose secret faults he seeks, even though he is sitting in the corner of his room.
