Gateway to the cryptoworld

Nowadays, more and more projects are talking about "inclusivity" and "on-ramps with ease" to onboard the general masses to the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency. It's amazing that there are projects who are tackling this issue in the crypto world. However, the way do it won't really on board the people who are at the lowest bracket of our society. Many of the projects are not even accessible through a mobile device.

This is greatly affecting the potential users in developing countries with households that don't have a computer or a laptop. I think they are missing that important aspect of inclusivity. In a developing country, it's less likely that the general masses would own a laptop. Interestingly, most of them own a smartphone.

A project that aims to onboard the broader masses should be mobile phone friendly, otherwise, it will be impossible to onboard the majority. Actually, I haven't seen a Defi platform that can be operated using a mobile phone. I could be wrong on this observation but it's definitely true for the majority of the platforms out there.

Another observation that keeps surprising me is that this platform hasn't captured the attention of the general masses. In my opinion, this platform is best suited to onboard potential users that only own a smartphone. It could easily capture the interest of the general masses since the use case is very familiar to everyone who has used or came across any mainstream social media apps there are.

The design of this platform is best suited to users like me who is a non-technical individual. A social media-based crypto app is a lot easier to comprehend than the simplest Defi platform out there.

In this platform, the transaction fees are almost free and it's very fast.

The only thing that I could wish for is an easy-to-use Fiat on-ramp in which users may simply purchase tokens through their credit cards or mobile device wallet that is common to a developing countries. A way to deposit and withdraw tokens without going through a centralized exchange. Or a way to make transactions between Fiat & crypto (coin or tokens) through a mobile device.

This platform could be the best avenue to have this kind of feature. Maybe soon™???

So much this. I imagine I would have double the stake I have now if this was possible.

I hope this happens in the next 3 years!

Imagine going to the store (like 7-Eleven) and purchase your "X token" worth about $10 without going through a centralized exchange. No bank account is required.

It will make crypto more inclusive even for low-income individuals.
