Engagement is Key

in cryptolife •  3 years ago

In a world where being anonymous/pseudonymous usually results in a lack of trust towards you. You are either forced to dox yourself or simply give up. However, it's not always the case. There is an exemption and that is to gain your viewers' or followers' trust through engagement.

Your words are the only ones that are holding onto. It's powerful! It's more than you can just think of. It has a way to instill your idea and your persona to the ones who are reading your content. If your idea is aligned with theirs then there will be a high chance that you will connect with them. As a result, you will get yourself an investor in a form of curation or a simple tip. But beyond money, it's about the attention that they spend on your content. Eventually, the trust is formed regardless if they know you personally or they only know you with your pseudonym.

But Engagement is difficult

To be very honest, I don't know anything in this world that could be achieved easily or without any hard work at all. Engagement is one thing that requires years to build up. You will definitely start at nothing but yourself or your close friend.

And the only way to effectively achieve a level of engagement in which everyone listens to you is through years of consistent communication with your followers and the ones you follow.

If you wish to be successful in social media then I have 2 suggestions for you:

  • stay active
  • stay engaged

Whether you're an influencer or a less known user, you will definitely achieve something good for your goal. Just be patient and be consistent at it.

not blaming you, just proves your point - even a post about engagement doesn't have any.

It's not just in Blurt, it's everywhere really. The attention of users is becoming more scarce. They are not motivated enough to leave a simple comment.

At least I got one from you :)
