Moving ETH around is one transaction you don't do in a hurry, especially because of the transaction fees. Recently someone asked me if there's a way they can move their ETH from Binance to their Celsius wallet without paying the usual ridiculous Ethereum transaction fees.
Fortunately, I have a little trick I have been using myself to avoid paying excessive fees for ETH transfers, and I hope you will find it useful too.
First, convert your ETH to BNB, XRP, TRX, BCH, DASH, or any of the many coins with low transaction fees. Don't worry the process discussed below will turn the coins back to ETH when completed. Let's use XRP for the purpose of this guide.
Now go to your favourite instant crypto exchange. If you want, you can also support me by using the token swap feature on the CryptoSorted blog HERE.
Then, initiate a swap from XRP to ETH on your chosen instant crypto exchange and follow through with the process.
Send the XRP from your Binance (or whatever exchange you're on) to the address generated by the instant crypto exchange you're using.
Provide them with your Ethereum wallet address where you like to receive the ETH once the conversion is complete.
Wait for your transaction to confirm and you will have ETH in your designated wallet.
Congratulations. You have successfully avoided paying the high Ethereum transaction fees with this simple trick.
What are your own tricks for avoiding Ethereum fees?
On Binance I convert everything to BNB… then to Dogecoin and send anywhere for a few pennies.
