If you have been investing in crypto currencies, and have had a specific focus on ISO 20022 compliant tokens, you should have come across these cryptos:
$HBAR
$ALGO
$XLM
$QNT
$XDC
$ALBT
It is the last one that has experienced an issue. So what do we do now, if we are investors?
Well, research, don't panic. You can certain follow the many that just immediately sell their holding to attempt to keep as much investment as possible, but in many cases you will sell at a loss and might lose out on the corrective actions taken by the crypto creators.
For $ALBT, follow them on Twitter and check out this post:
And this thread:
There was a hack that allowed nearly 110 million $ALBT tokens to be taken, which is a significant portion to the total supply. The Alliance Block team will be issuing new tokens after correcting the issue, but only those people whom have taken no action will get the airdropped replacement tokens.
For those users who started trading, well, sorry for your luck. Sometimes patience really is a virtue. If you made a quick buck on existing liquidity pools, congrats, you are one of a few.
For those that waited... keep waiting. Take no action on your $ALBT and you should receive the airdrop.
Happy hunting.
