Debunking a major Bitcoin myth.

What are you believing?

People think Bitcoin is digital gold, right?

It's like, okay, gold is a reserve asset for central banks. It helps back currencies, but it's also a rock.

So Bitcoin isn't really like that, if you think about it. It's an overly simplistic explanation for Bitcoin.

Then there's this idea that, ooh, Bitcoin is a risk asset like tech stocks, and they follow each other, and here's a graph and some statistics.

And you know what?

That may have been true, but that's not going to be true going forward. Bitcoin is a new form of money. Bitcoin could be a new financial system. Bitcoin could be a source of hope in a world of debt and other problems.

So think differently.
