Back in the days I used to promote my Fiverr gigs on Facebook. On some particular instance I usually boost the fiverr promotion post using the ad promotion feature back in the days on facebook and on Fiverr too I usually pay people to "star" my profile and then give me a little positive review so I can make the elite task masters on Fiverr. The whole system was about who was at the top, and on Facebook it was about who could pay more money for sponsored ads and these were coperate entities with money to throw around and it didn't really give little fishes like me "the opportunity". Did you hear that? "The opportunity." Which was never freely given but heavily bought back in the days.
So places like fiverr and Facebook were heavily centralised and at some point in fiverr a customer can refuse to pay you if they don't like your work for them and they can end up using your work anyway and this created a sort of disparity, there wasn't transparency and the peer to peer interaction between a gig bringer and a gig buyer wasn't plain or visible and of course "it was one of the first opportunities or examples of internet Monetization but it was heavily flawed and this is of course where blockchain did better* in decentralization of peer to peer and further tokenization of the web.
You see empowering the masses is what blockchain and cryptocurrency has done and will further even do in the future. Because of this, people now wants to be paid for doing things. Most of these entities don't like the fact that people want to get paid, they probably know that time, engagement and real interaction is how they're becoming rich at the expense of people. I was on Facebook yesterday to catch up with a few friends and they were asking me why I haven't been posting my works (fiction & poetry) on Facebook as they knew I usually have huge audience reading and commenting on my works. Then I told them how I met blockchain and how I can never post anything valuable on Facebook anymore because my time is worth more.

People are obviously still blind, that's why anything Crypto is mostly censored on some medias. The ability to realise that one little effort is worth mega returns is what people are not aware of. The hoax that Crypto is unstable is what keeps people in denial of how they can attain true freedom and control their finances. Places like fiverr isn't really a thing anymore. Who wants to spend days on a gig for Just $10 when they can do so much elsewhere? Who wants to keep languishing in self unfulfillment of not being a paid publisher when they can stop posting on Facebook for free and actually get their content monetized and tokenized in another form? People are still blind and we owe them to bring them to the limelight.
You see one of the reasons why government and mega wealthy cooperate entities are fighting the global adoption of blockchain is because it threatens monopoly and control. At one time Facebook wanted to integrated Libra because Facebook know Crypto was the future and he they tried to come up with their own Centralised version of it but I guess this didn't go down well with the stakeholders and this might probably be the reason why libra didn't see the light of day. Truth is, the evolution of cryptocurrency is coming at such a high speed which will be difficult for the government to keep up with and well if they can't totally control it at least they'll try to censor it, but then there's no stopping the moving train.
