Why are people shifting focus from gold to Bitcoin?
Gold rising reflects lack of confidence in paper money, among other things.
These themes are what Bitcoin was actually designed for back when the Bitcoin white paper came out following the 2008 financial crisis.
So when people look at gold making all time highs in a very slow, orderly manner, they start to ask themselves with Bitcoin, hey, how can I get on this?
How can I get on the fast moving train for this thing where we go?
We don't want debt and paper anymore. We want something digital usable.
Gold is a great reserve asset for central banks, but for the individual, it's a rock. And for investors, Bitcoin. Is where you can get major upside returns.
