A while back I posted about "crypto net worth" - one's total investment in the crypto sphere, expressed in a fiat currency like USD. I'm now all in on BLURT, awaiting the coming expected bull market. Seems like a good time to do an update on my crypto net worth!
First, what have I got?
I'm less diversified now than I've been for a while. After starting to fiddle around with cryptos a few years ago, having watched closely since 2011, I had some STEEM, HIVE, ADA (Cardano), LBC, and a few other random things like BAT (tokens for allowing ads in the Brave web browser).
Some of those have essentially slipped through my fingers for various reasons.
For example, I did accumulate a little Bitcoin, but it was held on the Flote platform, which disappeared and kept my BTC. I've tried emailing the former administrators but they didn't reply. I don't believe there's any way I can get anything for, or do anything with, my BAT tokens. The LBRY coins fell by 99.98% after the SEC accused LBRY (Odysee) of financial shenanigans, and Odysee moved away from being a crypto platform. As for my Cardano, the ADA wallet stopped supporting my version of Windows, so for a while I wasn't able to access it. Now that I'm able to again, it seems the wallet is empty. Not sure what happened with that. It's a good thing I didn't have too many of them, but it's sad to lose them, because ADA is one of the cryptos I picked that has actually done fairly well. There are also some tokens I received, earned, or purchased... and later forgot about them, or lost the key, and no longer have access to.
As for the STEEM and the HIVE, they were all converted to BLURT in my mad dash for a million by January 1st.
That's why I say I'm all in on BLURT. Unfortunately, it hasn't (yet) been a winner for me. Right now my 1,025,000 BLURT are worth right around $3000 USD.

... I'm just waiting on them to sprout. I remain eternally hopeful.
Until then, I've got about three grand to show for my past 11 years of full-time content creation. Not exactly a lucrative line of work! What's worse is I'm actually down since the last time I calculated, which was over 3 years ago. At that point, I had a fairly-well-diversified portfolio worth $4000. Today, I've got a million BLURT worth $3000.
To be fair, I do also have a little Litecoin (1.6) and Shina Inu (8 million), currently worth a combined total of $200.
So my crypto net worth is $3200. (Since I don't have a bank account or smart device, or much technical savvy, I don't even know if I have access to it! But in theory, my tokens are worth that dollar value.)
My Hope (Dream?)
Here's what I'd like to see happen next.
- the crypto bull market really gets underway, with Bitcoin moving to new all-time highs, and then a big spike to about $150,000 USD next year
- other good cryptos make even bigger proportional gains
- BLURT to new all-time high of 0.2 USD
I see these steps as fairly likely, and posted about it recently here and here.
That will put my crypto net worth well over $200k. Won't that be nice? I can finally pay down some debt, and then do some things I've been wanting to do for years but couldn't afford. I'll have more options with my kids as they grow. I'll have the money to get the medical care I need. I could even travel.
$200k isn't a big investment for a lot of people. Many own houses worth several times that amount. But for me, a humble activist and content creator, that's a lot. I'm resourceful and can stretch a dollar far, so $200k would go a long ways (even after paying off major debt).
I'm excited for the next 18 months!
Do you have any of the cryptos I mentioned here? What else are you interested in? What do you see doing really well in the next year or so?

I’ve got Shiba Inu too, few of HiVE and Blurt. I’m waiting for the right time too just as you said 18 months. I’m really praying I could get a pretty good amount this time.🙏

Sadly, I woke up today to see BLURT had fallen to 0.002 USD, meaning my entire stack has shrunk to $2000. That's barely enough to pay my rent for 30 days!
Let's hope this is just one last buying/earning opportunity, before the big bull market that lasts for a good long time!
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to open a Wise account (a US based, virtual bank account).
You can do a lot with that.
(last time I checked - a couple of years ago at least - they were able to trade in and out/convert crypto into $'s).
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...As asset in the tangible world is worth more than 200,000 conceptual tokens with zero utility and is fully dependent on hopium just to create a pretense of a market....(Imo)...Old chinese proverb -

I'll look into Wise, thanks. I've looked into (and tried out) dozens of possible options over the years, and they all sound good until you actually do them. Most require a lot more than they advertise up front, for example. Or after a few months they send you a form to fill out for govt oversight and taxation. Or things go well for a while but then they suddenly close up and disappear. There are a lot of people like me, who either can't or won't use banks, smart devices, or govt IDs. We're all looking for a way to get involved. If Wise has solved that, great, but I'm wondering why I haven't heard waves within the unbanked world.

I think that proverb was originally either Chinese, French, or from those uncontacted tribes in the deep jungle.
I've never had any issue with wise (several years, and no contact except for email updates).
Hmm, I feel for you, I have experience some of the crypto issues you listed. It's somehow crazy to work hard for something that at the end they disappear into thin air.
For me I only have Shiba Inu among the coin you listed. About 2 million, I sold about 1 million which was around #10 this morning to buy another alt coin.
After getting scammed of my btc I mine way back in 2016, since then I have not bought any btc since the price has went off the roof.
Am trying to position myself too for this bull run so as to make good bulk that i can invest in the nearest future and more also to give my family a better life. Talking about debt, I have $700 to be paid off which I collected to invest in the last bull run which I was not careful until the bear market dealt with me.
I believe with proper investment in the right coin, all debt will be fully paid. Blurt hitting $0.2 I would be the happiest person.
