Hive Needs To Be Like A Scam & Grow Like A Scam

Drop your pitchforks! I'll explain myself. I've been around Hive longer than most. I've been active for all 6 years. I've been through ups, downs, sideways - I've seen it all. I've seen lots of wasted potential...

So I wanna add some inputs from all the stuff I've seen. I've seen lots of scams. I saw folks jump into stupid bandwagons like BitConnect! How many of you even heard about BitConnect?

What do you think happened? Everything crashed and burned soon after this big event. After that we had some memes. Memes were fun. Scam is what left a terrible mark.

BitConnect crashed because it was a ponzi. Their hype machine worked really good. Crash only came because there were no fundamentals. BCC wasn't real DeFi like RUNE, CACAO, AAVE.....

Hive Has Awesome Fundamentals

We can market like a scam but not crash like BitConnect. It's just a theory 😇 I used to have a big problem with how scams and other pointless tokens get so much attention. Look at APE 👀 Look at their NFTs 🃏 Are they any good like SPS?

BAYC has so little to show for real utility I don't even want to compare them with Splinterlands. It doesn't even look fair. But marketcaps give a different vibe!

People Invest In What They Know 😱

It sounds obvious! But its really important. There's no point being frustrated because folks throw money at stupid tokens and buy useless NFT. Most people don't even know about the good stuff. We're invisible 👻

Somebody will buy a scam they know of. Nobody will buy a legit crypto they don't know about! Scams fix the visibility problem. They have no fundamentals. So they compensate with other things. They compensate really well and milk the money from ignorant investors.

Easy Onboard 🤗 Easy Buy 🚀

It took some time to realize these 2 things. I want more people to see what I see now. If users buy something - sunk cost alone can get them to remain users. Hive needs get users to sign up & invest ASAP.

We've solved onboarding. Even getting a real Hive account is super easy! What's left is to get folks to invest in $LEO $HIVE or any other crypto we have. I don't see direct likes to LeoDEX or anything else.

The most fundamental reason that even businesspeople underestimate the importance of sales is the systematic effort to hide it at every level of every field in a world secretly driven by it.

There’s a wide range of sales ability: there are many gradations between novices, experts, and masters. There are even sales grandmasters. If you don’t know any grandmasters, it’s not because you haven’t encountered them, but rather because their art is hidden in plain sight.

Superior sales and distribution by itself can create a monopoly, even with no product differentiation. The converse is not true. No matter how strong your product-even if it easily fits into already established habits and anybody who tries it likes it immediately-you must still support it with a strong distribution plan.

Everybody has a product to sell—no matter whether you’re an employee, a founder, or an investor. It’s true even if your company consists of just you and your computer. Look around. If you don’t see any salespeople, you’re the salesperson.

I'm just a guy on net writing stuff. I'm not even a whale. I barely have any influence. But you can take a lesson from one of the most successful investors ever!

I found an audio version of his book. Listened to it recently. It was bit of a surprise to see how much emphasis was on sales. After all these years in crypto I can surely say sales and distribution by itself can create a monopoly. I wish more people will figure this out soon.

4 Step Plan To Grow Like A Scam 🚀🌛

• Step 2: Already covered by InLeo/Splinterlands. Can be replicated.

• Step 3: Make buying coins/NFT as easy as onboarding! Add links to purchase page at multiple spots on UI.

• Step 1: Build a funnel that keep sending as many users to step 2. Ads, events, sponsorship.... anything that can work for a scam should work for a legit crypto even better.

• Step 4: Build strong communities. Also make them visible to Web 2 socials. Hive has many cool communities. Hardly any of them are known outside.
