Scott Melker and James Lavish on Debt and Crypto

in crypto •  2 years ago

At least Melker has a sense of humour as he trots out the same crypto bullshit news as every other news site with pages to fill.

Bitcoin in a price-coma since June 2022.

And the clickbaity title:
Full Capitulation Is Imminent, What Will Happen To Crypto?

Hah! As I've been saying, the Mango-juice-squeeze was not an exploit - it was just using the dumb algos.

Special guest: James Lavish, managing partner and portfolio manager at Bitcoin Opportunity Fund. Starts after 18 minutes of goofing the news.

Decent interview, largely about debt and bonds, from both a macro and individual perspective.

An important point is that the USA need never default on its own USD debt as the Fed can always print money. So if it does default, then everyone should know that it is done on purpose. Countries whose debts are not denominated in their own currencies are the ones in very serious trouble - watch those small countries turn to crypto.

Spending 1 hour on videos that have 3 minutes of information is not worth it. But Melker sounds more amusing than many others - sit down Vays and Pomp.
