Juno Gets Wyred

At first sight, this seems an odd piece of news.

Crypto firm Juno urges users to withdraw after 'uncertainty' with custody partner

No hack, no exploit, not even any overt panic.

Fiat-to-crypto on-ramp solution provider Juno has urged its users to sell or self-custody the crypto on its platform citing “uncertainty” with its crypto custodian partner Wyre.

Crypto firm Wyre winding down after failed Bolt deal

I suspect this has less to do with the "crypto winter" and more to do with a forecast of more freezing cold to come.

Joint Statement on Crypto-Asset Risks to Banking Organizations

This could be the key section, in this case:

Inaccurate or misleading representations and disclosures by crypto-asset companies, including misrepresentations regarding federal deposit insurance, and other practices that may be unfair, deceptive, or abusive, contributing to significant harm to retail and institutional investors, customers, and counterparties.

That "statement" is like the Inquisition showing crypto the tools of torture before implementation.

BTW Juno Finance is not the same as Juno Network on Cosmos.
