This is long. Not this post; the tweet-rant.
Former FTX US President lashes out at 'insecure' SBF in 49-part Twitter thread rant
Why not just pen a short article? I guess Twattr still has eyeball-count for the cryptonati - the irony of this should not be ignored.
I have this itch... somewhere in that part of the brain that processes bullshit... that SBF may be going for some form of insanity plea.
The stress of being wholly incompetent at managing billions must surely have warped his fragile sense of reality. Sounds plausible. The then fact of screwing up billions would have been an unwelcomed reality-intrusion.
Also note,
“I never could have guessed that underlying these kinds of issues — which I’d seen at other more mature firms in my career and believed not to be fatal to business success — was multi-billion-dollar fraud.”
The whole of finance is crooks getting away with being crooked. It's just so tempting, isn't it!? When "low risk" spikes into "high risk" is when those little white frauds can turn into panic-errors.
You are allowed to lose money; happens every day. But not when it's your fault.

Scaramucci to invest in crypto firm founded by former FTX US boss
or, more to the point, not when losing money of people who never entrusted you to invest it. being a shitty investment manager is not itself a crime - just means you lose clients... erm... unless like GBTC, you place your clients in quarantine.
