'Surgical removal' of crypto will only weaken USD dominance, commentators say
The United States' crackdown on cryptocurrencies and firms will only serve to stifle crypto-related innovation and “weaken” the country, said industry pundits in the wake of Coinbase's recent Wells notice.
Yep! Fairly obvious. So... who gains from such a scenario?
Elite wealth is already buying assets on the cheap, such as land. They are the ones that would benefit. The same scheme as played on third world countries - just bigger.
This needs a different view of what has been going on for the past 100 years or so. The slow destruction of monetary wealth has gone hand in hand with the accumulation of real physical wealth - mainly land but also assets that come with it, such as mining rights.
That's it - a long con.
Note that the inSecurity Extortion and Coercion (iSEC) agency continues to play their pathetic game; those people must have all been reading Kafka's the Trial, in which a person is accused of some undefined crime.

more likely the IMF's SDR.
oh, and as the chart shows, Bitcoin too will end at some point - when the fixed number of coins becomes a limitation.
Also, BTC derivatives would balloon to dwarf the asset.
sounds so good I wanna clone it.
then again.
the maths would be identical, hence its price trajectory too...
