Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of the crypto exchange FTX, has come under fire by the crypto community for comments that could imply that he is in favor of censoring DeFi protocols.

The comments are great - here's one near the top that hammers the nail on the head:
Ripping off customers is OK if you're in with the banksters. Trading against your customers is actually "illicit activity" in a regulated market.
One other thing, the USA is NOT the whole world. Admittedly, most central banksters are joined at the hip and just follow orders. As always, with these kinds of ideas floated into the public sphere, look at those platforms that promote genuine "free spaces".
My take on this is different: make Defi less scammy, with better protocols and fewer ponzis, and the scammers will move elsewhere. This also won't happen any time soon as such platforms (Uniswap) make a ton of money precisely from scammy defi constructs.
