BIRMINGHAM: England's James Anderson has become the first fast bowler in the world to cross the 650-wicket milestone in Test cricket when the Birmingham Test between England and New Zealand began. James Anderson, 39, needed four more wickets to complete 650 wickets. He took three wickets in the first innings of the Test and in the second innings he bowled Kiwi captain Tom Latham to cross the 650-wicket milestone. Sri Lankan sniper Murali Dharan, who took 800 wickets in 133 Test matches, is the first fast bowler in the world to take this award. Australian sniper Shane Warren is second with 708 wickets while former Indian league sniper Anil Kumble is fourth with 619 wickets.
