Most people who get Omicron complain of symptoms such as the common cold or flu. Then, this is considered a milder symptom than the previous variant. But for people who are not vaccinated, the early symptoms of infection with Omicron can be more severe.
"The Omicron variant acts more or less the same as the regular Corona virus, the symptoms are like having the flu," said NYU Langone Health infectious disease doctor, Dr Stephanie Sterling, quoted from Eat This Not That!, Friday (18/2/2022).
