This month's numbers from Health Canada are in. There's nothing too noteworthy except the 61% increase in kidney disease this week, and the majority of cases are COVID once again. I hope you didn't get injected, and if you did, I hope you have better luck than the Irish. Here's the breakdown:
+3 Guillain-Barré Syndrome
+2 Thrombocytopenia (low platelets)
+2 Cardiac failure
+2 Myocardial infarction
+6 Myocarditis/pericarditis
+1 Cerebral thrombosis
+2 Cutaneous vasculitis
+2 Deep vein thrombosis
+1 Haemorrhage
+5 Pulmonary embolism
+1 Thrombosis (blood clot)
+1 Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia syndrome
+1 Kidney injury
+14 Glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome (61% increase)
-1 liver injury (redaction)
+2 Bell's Palsy
+4 Cerebrovascular accident (ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke)
-1 Anaphylaxis (redaction)
+27 COVID19
+2 Multisystem inflammatory syndrome
+71 Severe adverse events this month including 8 deaths
Cumulative Total: 5913 serious adverse events including 427 deaths
This time last year before heavy redactions, the total of adverse events was 6,355. Imagine what the total would be at if there not only had been no redactions, but less red tape to reporting adverse events!
