I have a sore throat. It might be Covid. Should I take the Test ?

I think I might have Covid.

I have a very sore throat, runny nose and a cough.

It is probably just a cold.

Should I take the home test ?

I have taken the 2 Pfizer jabs but not the booster.

I am very afraid of that test. What should I do ?

Just quarantine for a few days ?

The body heals itself naturally, sometimes without the assistance of anything, except rest.

I am trying to rest … and make many eclectic posts on Blurt to buy some more stuff…. Like Linda McCartney Chicken nuggets and a new iPad and some solar panels.

I would take vitamin C, D, and some Zinc. For a real immune boost try some oregano oil, colloidal silver, and/or quercetin. Less worry, more rest. No tests required! If you end up getting sick, and you think it's viral, I recommend Ivermectin. One dose and you're good again, no side effects in most people, no serious side effects possible. Do not worry about Covid. It is not a threat to individuals, or even to healthcare systems.

Beautiful treatment for that symptom .
Covid is normal ! Very normal in Africa . A lot of people treated Covid without knowing It was Covid .
Do that and you will be fine .

There's a lot of really good up to date information about it here.

Thanks. I will look it over. I like how I am not attacked on Blurt for mentioning Covid.

Me too. Hopefully we can maintain relatively-free flow of information, opinions, ideas, etc.

Yes. I’m here to have fun and share my photography, artwork, and other very random and eclectic content. I avoid all drama at all costs.

Just rest.
People forgott, that that is what we meant to do, when we are unwell. . .just chill.
They made us believe we gotta panic, do test, etc. when one is not well.
When in reality, we just need to take it as a sign, that we gotta take time for ourselves and slow down.

Take some collodial silver and grapefruit seed extract. That is always my go to for everything.

You're 100% right. Our body deliberately makes us feel shitty to force us to chill, so it can divert all it's resources to fighting the bug. We can help our bodies out by keeping up our intake of water and healthy food. The stress and panic sadly work against our bodies in the fight and actually help the bug.

I say do the test so that you know, take some rest and eat many fruits and sups until you get better.
Dont be afraid of covid
I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks. I will take the test to see what it says…. If negative I will just stay in bed until I’m better.

I'm not a doctor, but you probably have Covid. It's 99.99% chance the Omicron variant which is milder than most common colds at this point. If I were you, I'd just take it easy for a few days and it'll go away naturally. You're young enough to fight it without help.

In my short experience, it's the fear of this virus that's recking most of the damage (mental health, stress, etc)

Good luck and get well soon

Thanks.

I will just avoid all the humans for the next 14 days. I will probably lose a lot of weight.

Well, we are like this, with a headache, a burning throat as if you were stuck with needles, a cough, a sneeze and phlegm... but I don't want to worry, Kathe asks me every day if she has the virus and I just tell her that she has the flu. .. I've treated it like a normal flu, even Cami had a fever for 2 days but she's fine now... we've had oregano teas with lemon and ginger teas with lemon, you should do it and you'll feel better.

Cami was like this for 3 days, me 2 days, the only thing left is the burning in my throat and I keep drinking the teas, my husband 3 days and he's fine and Kathe has been like this since Wednesday, she has been hit harder, even it has it but I know that with the teas it will be better for the weekend.

Get well soon, take care!

Thanks. I’m having a hot coffee now and my throat feels a little better. I should switch to tea with lemon and honey ….. I could not sleep at all with a headache, cough and having to clear my throat every 30 seconds.

Yes, better drink tea, if you get ginger you do it with ginger and lemon. Here is a plant called tua tua, it is very good for the throat, it is anti-inflammatory and antibiotic, we have gargled with an infusion of that plant, I do not know if this plant exists there, I am sending you a photo to you see.

Excellent …. I will see if I can find it. We are having similar stormy rainy weather here in Canada

I had COVID and didn't even know it, my son and my daughter also, only my daughter tested herself and she came out positive. Their's only lasted three days I had it for five, probably age had to do with that. This was before Omicron, but what we got was actually mild, the only really bad thing was the temporary loss of taste and smell, otherwise it was just like a common cold. I took no specific meds, just analgesics for discomfort. If what you have is Omicron I would expect, and hope, it will be mild.

The test was negative… I think it might be allergies. We have yellow pollen on everything.
