Why do so many hospitals lack the necessary number of beds? Why do they not have enough ventilators, CT scanners, and other essential equipment? Why is there a shortage of medical professionals, and why are doctors retiring at rates that cannot be replaced?

Would a free market health care system be perfect? Would it provide healthcare equally to all and satisfy every single need? No, of course not. There is no system that can take a limited resource and provide it in an unlimited way. What a free market would do is guarantee the lowest possible cost and highest possible quality healthcare system for the most people.
