Moving the Cooking Outside

I cook inside during the winter. This keeps the warmth from cooking indoors.

For the last decade I've been cooking outdoors during the summer using a rocket stove. The rocket stove burns twigs and small branches. In theory it is carbon neutral.

Anyway, there was a cold snap at the beginning of May. Things started heating up this last week and I finally transitioned from indoor to outdoor cooking.

My local store has some stew meat in the discount section; so I cooked up a basic beef stew with carrots, celery, red pepper, potatoes, okra, mushrooms and onions. I tossed in a femur bone as the person paying for the food likes beef marrow.

I also threw in the broth that I had from a chicken dinner making for an extremely rich sauce.

In the past I've taken pictures of the ingredients. The ingredients. The basic instructions is simply to brown some meat in the dutch oven, then throw in a bunch of stuff and bring to a boil.

Blurt Update

I bumped up my BLURT POWER to 6900. The curation page shows that I am receiving 7.641 BLURT a week in curation rewards. I estimate that I am paying about 7 BLURT a week in fees; So, I am finally above the magic number where I am receiving more than the fees.

I have my goal set on 10,000 BP. Yes, 10K BP is the magical point where I will start being happy.
