What I have learned in the previous year 2021.

The year 2021 was a rollercoaster. From the pandemic, to all the deaths as a result and many more. I personally think that in the midst of all these learning should still take place either from experiences or from incidences.
Growing up as a child in Nigeria is really not easy. Most parents don't really have the time or are not in the place to teach their children some very important things.Yes, they teach us manners, ethics and religion but how about making money or understanding the principles of wealth generation or even a trade? In our country today, children are forced to learn some important things on their own.
Last year, I learned a handful of things which are very useful and important. I learned about blurt which is very important, I learned graphic design and lastly I learned the reasons some people don't get wealthy even after engaging in buisness transactions.
I'm going to elaborate on the last thing I learned last year which is THE REASONS SOME PEOPLE DON'T GET WEALTHY EVEN AFTER ENGAGING IN BUISNESSES OR JOBS.

  1. Lack of diligence: The simple explanation to this is refusal to do your homework. A person who is not diligent goes to work late, refuses to do what is to be done, take their business or jobs for granted and many others. Being diligent is understanding what needs to be done and doing it well.

  1. The bankruptcy of character: A good name is better than money. We hear this all the time but do we fully understand it? A good name will bring you money. People go into buisness with people they can trust. Some people are very badly behaved with lack of morals when it involves their business partners or bosses. As a person, you have to treat people you go into buisness with well. You can be diligent but without a good character you cannot go far. Don't try to act smart by cheating or stealing from your business partner or boss. Do not insult ur buisness partner just because things are not going your way. Learn to mind your business don't use your place of buisness as a point for gossip or fight. The key word there is self control.

  1. Wastefulness: We all know what wastefulness is,Using money you don't have to buy things you don't need to impress people you dont like or don't like you. Wastefulness is also lack of saving. Saving is really not easy for many people if I'll be honest. You are not saving to enjoy yourself or give anybody, you are saving for emergencies, You are saving for opportunities. Imagine trying to get a land or a car and then an opportunity comes. For instance someone wants to sell his car for quarter the original price because they have a financial problem or something and for the past 3 years all you dreamt of was owning a car of your own because you need to get to work early and then the car is brought to you and all you have is $10 simply because you spent all the money you were suppose to save, how would you be able to buy it or be happy with yourself even??
You can decide to save 10% from your income as it comes or save something that won't take much from you and you'll see that emergencies won't catch up with you anytime. The key word here is consistency.
You can be diligent and have a good character but if you are wasteful then you cannot be wealthy.

I would like to stop here and I hope you learned something from what I learned last year? Its really not easy to learn things as adults but I really feel like with consistency and practice you can do whatever you want.
