Blurt-dad Contest

in contest •  3 years ago

Let me post this now before we get to the weekend and things get busy. I was fortunate enough to have a very good dad and one who was always actively in my life. And I am thankful for that.

He always reminded me:
Strength and power
And comfort every hour

We don't always need to talk now that I am grown up. He has spent the last 7 years as a nomad also so we respect that but can always check in with each other if we need.

Recently I have been feeling a little pressure financially as I live in Ghana and funds begin to dry up as business has gone down from COVID. I really do not want to return to the US and my mom has her concerns about my finances and being so far away.

He is in the US now and I asked him based upon his perception of things I am missing out on the financial security and retirement and things of my peers. He reminded me to stay on my own path and told me he respected me for that.

Teaching me how to swim at the public pool.

Always giving my pops a helping hand.

The most recent picture of him I took in 2019 in Tangier

Oh lala! What wonderful photographs how much love I find in them, also your father and grandfather are very beautiful men, long live the love of dad.
Your father looks very affectionate and I show it to you in his care, you have beautiful memories here.

In my country we say that in moments of crisis is when the best ideas arise, be grateful for the trust that your parents have in you, they know that you will be able to get ahead, just believe in yourself and do not lose faith. Get back your life purpose and soon everything will change.

I do not know, how old are you at this moment, but one way to find a way is by remembering in your childhood what you liked to do, what made you happy and from there you can visualize your life purpose, you can find work in something that make you happy and help you find your financial freedom.

Thank you for encouraging you to participate in this contest that is made with a lot of love for the friends at Blurt.
Good vibes.
