Welcome to the weekly SUNDAYFUNDAY with instant spot prizes

Now if you know me you know I detest rules, but that is in wider society, so with no further ado, let us get on with the only 2 rules for this give away of 10 blurt per entry, paid until all 10 prizes are gone, so the maximum entries is 10 to equal a total payout of 100 across 10 people.
You can enter this and earn 10 burt even after 7 days no problem.

Please if you would - reblog the post so more people get to join in.

If a supremely funny (IMO) entry comes in after the 100 limit is reached, I will payout for it just for fun.

I have set aside 5100 in the kitty to give away and will keep adding to this pool as I earn from articles on here, so my 3 weekly giveaways will never end, even if I earn nothing on here, I will buy more blurt to keep it going.

We have SUNDAYFUNDAY, the midweek music giveaway & the Friday comedy contest, I may add more to make it daily if I have time.

Allow me to kick off a true story, funny memory.

I was 10 or 11 and my sister was 11 or 12. We heard on the radio that there was a fire on a beacon, Barr Beacon (public land for walking) one summer, and they were asking for volunteers to come and help put it out.

As it was the summer holidays and with no parent in sight as they were all at work, we set off with some old clothes to beat down the fire. (They would never have let us brave souls go to help out.)

8 of us arrived at the foot of this hill and could see smoke billowing up into the sky.

So we marched to the top with our best serious faces on.
As we got to the summit or close to it, there were many others beating down on the ground with anything they took with them, this was no raging fire, more a slow spread low level smouldering event.

So we dipped our taken from home scrap clothes into buckets of water that had been provided and spread out to beat this thing into submission.

A few hours passed and between us and a couple of hundred adults our mission was complete, we were now firefighters in our small minds.

A pat on each others back and some smiles, 1 cheer later and we were on the way home, looking like we had just been down a coal mine.

On the way back we took a short cut, it is at this moment in a field my sister noticed I had in fact been using a part of her school uniform to beat the floor with. (school blazer. She spotted the school badge.)

Angry with me she chased me for a while, I laughed and teased her, until she could run no more.

It is at this point she turned to head sideways still looking at me, tripped and fell face first into manure, it went up to her ears, covered she was head to toe in **it.

Me and the others were laughing so much we were crying, on the floor, flat on our backs, my sister shouted I am going to kill you lot, but she had no energy to chase us - we all laughed and made jokes at her perfume all the way home, my parents were not amused to say the least.

She laughs with me now about that memory, the innocence of youth, with one thought in both our minds, how great it was, that innocence of youth.

Hope you enjoyed a memory of mine.

Have a super Sunday, and feel free to enter, have a superb week.

It's good she can laugh now. I think my sister would probably still be very angry!!
