Well by now you either know or you never will.

The master of all things has decided it is Saturday so we get to celebrate with a writing and or poetry contest, that is right, a 2 for 1 deal.

Rules for entry, either write a poem or short story below or make your own entry on your own timeline and let me know via a link in the comments.
Any entry has to be posted from the moment I post this forward and there are 7 days to enter.

If you reblurt this post you will get more visibility and possibly more votes.

I am putting up 10 prizes of 10 blurt for the first 10 entries.
As this finishes on Christmas day and no matter if you are Christian or not, I will be adding another 100 blurt for a first place winner.
As I have no way of proving if your story or poem is your own or copy pasted, I am relying on your honesty to say so, if it is copied then please just say so, and why. I.E. "It is not my story but the world deserves to hear it etc etc."

I am trying to think of a good idea for a new year contest with a "start the new year with a bang 1000 blurt giveaway."
Any ideas gratefully accepted.

If this goes well I will do it every week on the same day, day to be decided. (free write and poetry that is.)

I must admit I did not bother with a comedy post last night due to lack of interest last week, but may yet do another 1.
