I have no doubt, and even began suspecting several years ago that based on historical references, tech probably has existed beyond what we have been given publicly since times of antiquity. I suspect that there might be some periodic event that happens those who rule are aware of. That before it happens, they introduce the tech to explode the world population for a slave extraction operation to prepare much like squirrels for what is coming. Obviously speculation on my part, but it makes the most sense to me.
