unshackled minds - inequality

That is a small part of my motorcycle collection.

I have a barn full, workshop full, double garage full, some in an old farm house too.
It does prick my conscience when I see elderly people going through bins to find alloy cans to sell to make ends meet.
I offset my motorbike hoarding by giving away nearly all the food we grow to the elderly or vulnerable.

Everything grown in the fields is given away, tonnes of it, we only keep what we grow in 4 gardens and the greenhouse, but even then sometimes there is more than we can eat, so that gets shared for free.

We gave up picking up and giving away walnuts at around 60kg. Left the rest for nature, squirrels etc.
But still sometimes I look at the whole scene - the bigger picture and it does make me think, it does make me feel.

When is enough enough? For the likes of me I have all I need, 2 cars, large collection of motorbikes, a lot of space to ride around in private, any time I want, with only my rules in place.

2 medium size apartments in town, 1 is where my mother in law resides for free. She had a fall out with her ex, and he evicted her onto the street from said apartment. He has many apartments, so really there was no need to leave that one empty, but greed got the better of him, and anger plus jealousy, gone was his slave.
So we bought the apartment off him and she moved back in.

I stopped wanting more when I had enough, but for some, it is never enough is it.
Some will say but Bill Gates is a philanthropist, but then I look at his foundations portfolio, and it is for pure investment, the only institutions he gives to are one's that help him gain more money or power.
I look at Bill Gates, Bezos, Musk, Klaus Schwab, Soros and co, and they all seemingly always want more.

The entire planet it seems divided up between them.

If you pay attention it is there for all to see.

We support the local orphans/foster home with donations each Christmas. It started with my daughters toys, she has way too many. But then they asked if it could be things they need instead like clothes. So clothes it is.
That is giving, direct to the people that need it, no middle man, nobody to pay off, no directors, no CEO, just what do you need, here you go.
We have an agreement still with my daughter that if she wants more presents, more toys, she has to give the same amount away to those that have less.

I digress.

The Steve Jackson game pictured is a great insight into the minds of the narcissistic ego maniacs that want it all, at any cost.

This card in particular is pretty telling as countries, central banks, the IMF/World bank and fed compete to be the first and only digital reserve currency.
I know the plans as they have not been quiet about it, the head of the EU central bank is on video saying it gives them control over what we spend and when, as paper money does not and can be used without them knowing what we are buying, you know, privacy.

If you research the IMF articles, World bank, bank of England, non federal feral reserve etc, they all state the same, they want to be able to take our money at will, digital style.
A digital wallet achieves said end game, so be prepared.

Anyway enough of the serious stuff, have a super Sunday, back tonight with Sundayfunday and on the spot prizes, any entries have to be a fun story about your life.

If we are planning to donate to charities the 90% goes to the administrative staff the CEO down to so-called volunteers, if they use celebrities those are not free.

So it is better to donate directly to a person in need.

Then to digitally confiscate your money is just too scary and I do not know how the future will hold if that happens.

That is what we do, some years I put a greenhouse at the top of the drive and filled it every morning with fresh food, and a sign saying help yourself to what you need, I did it one year and put bring some take some, this year a lot of it went to a local silo to be shared to those in need, we also do local deliveries to the elderly close by with a car boot full of goodies for them to pick what they want.
My wife does the weekly shopping for some with disabilities like polio. She does it for free, they pay for their own shopping but she charges nothing for doing it.

I always say change starts with self, practice what you preach.

And yes, central banks having digital wallets for a cashless society in my opinion will end in no good for all.

After the pandemic my church had done similar to what you are already doing, it is called a "Free store" where eligible persons can shop what they needed for free and also can share what they have. It inspired some groups and individuals to do the same.
Then community feeding is done at a regular basis in selected scheduled areas around town.
I was thinking to do my own version but I just lack funds especially I got booted from that other blockchain.

Anyway I admire you for such being a good person, may God bless you more here and beyond. 😉

Thank you, was the other blockchain hive?
I wrote on there a while back or it may have been steemit, about how it changed the local village, when we started sharing 7 years ago, other people started giving away what they had extra of, so even if it was only tomatoes or apples, everyone started to share, speaking of apples, next year will be a superb year for them, we have 2 apple orchards, and they tend to be abundant every second year.

Yeah hive, I was doing awesome until all went to clusterfuck, then down my account goes. But I do not want to think about it anymore as it is beyond my control.

A proper communication with village/community members in doing such system will indeed benefit all making all happy and contented which an ideal life should be.

Praying that your apples would bear much fruit that it would break its branches. If you have time you might juice them and that you could share aside from giving away some ripe fruits :) I eat apples regularly because it is my source of fiber in my diet.

I think to make apples sweet you could fertilize them with Potassium-based fertilizer, it is what my grandmother does with her citrus trees in her province.

That is why I left hive, it was not me being bullied, it was my friends, but friends stick together so here I am.The trees for apples have been here decades before I got here, some trees have different varieties of apples on the same tree, great to do if you have the skill, I do not.

May I ask where you are from? Your English is superb.

Having a fruiting tree in the backyard or in your plot of land is very nostalgic to me because we had this guava tree in the side of our house and when I go out I would always look up to see if there are any close to ripening fruits that I can pluck and eat. Guavas have a lot of variety and that one in our backyard gives both small and big fruits. The big ones gives me a level of surprise because it comes once in a blue moon, a very weird guava tree indeed. But my father when he goes back from working abroad always hacks it down until he cut it for good many years ago.

I do not regard my English as good :) I have a lot of bad grammar 😅

A few hours ago I was talking using Zoom with my local church brethren, they were smiling and amused because I was using English terms. It is a relatively pretty long talk for because I do not always talk I am not used to mingling with people and chit-chatting but they featured me in and I have to speak considering that I got a speech impediment which is why they are amused by hearing my funny voice talking a mix Tagalog and a bit of English, I am from the Philippines.

We all need the basics shelter, food, clothing and anything extra is fantastic.

True that bro.
I have 2 sisters, my eldest sister is more concerned with what she owns, how she looks to others than to herself. Is that not your own personality lost if all you care about is what others think of you?
