I have a problem with messages being rammed down my throat.
Such is my detestment (there you go I made up a new word) or resentment for being told what to think - I no longer listen to the radio. I used to happily work away restoring a motorbike, sanding it, painting it; from start to finish, engine rebuild the lot, happily, then every 30 minutes they said "coronavirus1984 figures" so that was me and the radio done with.
I gave up on the TV set years ago, got 6, never turn a single one on.
Now it is social media that is starting to grind with me, Ukraine messages and all. We have 3 million of them here, there were already 1 million before the "war"......
Every country over the last 2 years has seen a, let me think, what do they call it now? Mass resigning of work forces. People saying nope, not doing it anymore.

Poland is not a rich country when it comes to wages.
Being honest here, some jobs here suck ass when it comes to wages, my wife once worked for a internet - Tv package - phone company, 40 hours a week for just over £1 per hour, thankfully she resigned and now teaches English for a lot more cash and a lot less hours.
But who filled her shoes, who replaced her? Ukrainians, that is who.
For years and many of them, they have come here to work, so if the wages are bad here, how bad are they there that they need to come and work here, think about it.
Now every country wants them, everyone is a special friend, come to us they all scream, almost like a script is it not? Cheap labour and all, almost like it was all intended, but hey, that would just be a conspiracy theory would it not? A war, loads of countries lining up to take cheap labour to fill jobs in countries their own people do not want to work in - Shut up Darren you lunatic conspiracy theorists the crowd shouts.
Of course there are no videos like above, no fakebook appeals like above for this cheap labour, of course Joe Biden is not letting in millions of migrants to do the work Americans do not want to do.
And of course the welfare state in the UK does not make it for a lot, more likely they will sit at home and get free money rather than go to work - shut up you nutter, as if.

I rarely listen to radio either but sometimes in the car when driving I catch the snooze and the other day they were lamenting that they did not have enough workers for the recovering hospitality sector. Tourism is one of the BIGGEST earners here but it's also seasonal. Also the tiny fruit and veg sector uses migrant workers a lot so being me and joining the dots it's pretty obvious why they want to import so many UKrainians even tho nearly all of them are unjabbed (actually that's probably WHY they want them.) What they haven't reckoned with is that they might not want to do that kind of work. It's pretty obvious this is some kind of slave trade going on to me.
Did I mention we already have a homeless population of about 10,000 here too?
Not disagreeing with you there, 10.000 is insane, there are none here, not a single 1, I did see one once but that was years ago.
By the way, the Ukrainians pick most of the fruit and veg here and have done for 8 years, since I arrived here, the Polish go to Italy to do the same, my wife's cousin does it every year.
They are selective even when providing cheap labor. There are more than 7 million Syrians here and the doors have never been opened to them so easily!
It props up the "system" of monopoly money and makes people feel like the system is real, when all of it is fake, ever seen a politician answer a question with an honest answer? Me neither, let the entire show collapse, then we can build it again, but better.
