And they still are! - I'm using Linux Mint for cryptos but it's a pain in the arse and I think Win 7 smokes it.

it's because you're used to windows and it's hard for you to change your habits.

I also had a hard time in the first months of using linux. After a few years, I don't know how I could work on windows, even though I used it many years ago. Everything on it is so annoyingly impractically resolved for me.

In 30 years they still don't have a file explorer that works as well as the one on xp...why is that?

Because their explorer is better?. I hate windows file explorer it's sucks.

Why you must change habits?
Question is why independent system should do anything to looks like other? Its different approach than those who "microsoft specialist" see and that's why is better ;]

And maybe why it has sub 5% usage.
Browsing folders of thousands of hi res photos on linux is a nightmare on every file explorer ive tried...and that is about 10 of them....but geeks love it...and that, along with no photoshop, were the killers for me...i do have a laptop running mint, and it works ok so long as i only use it for what its best for

And why should the customer have to change their habits anyway? That is not how this stuff works!
