Sssshe this post has nothing to do with mushrooms. Ignore the mushrooms in the basket 🧺 - just look at my lovely orange basket for Tuesdays colour challenge - which is also a bit of Mondays red with the fabric we bought in Bali, hiding the very functional pockets behind it. In the oven pockets we have everything needed for adventure - rope, knives, bandaids, tea tree oil, almonds, snake first aid kit, that kind of thing, you know...

On the weekend we went for a little adventure in Buttercup, our 1973 Series 3 Landrover. If there was a colour challenge for grey, she would feature a LOT. Hubs did a nut and bolt restoration on her. She's part of the fam.

Whilst she might rattle slowly on the highway, she's at home on dirt, sand and mud roads, happily exploring. We love taking her for a drive, packing a thermos of tea or some soup 🍲 and sandwiches 🥪. On this drive we went to a whole green section on the map we had never been to before. Lots of forest tracks and no one around.

She's also a great mushroom hunter, taking us down hard to find tracks where other vehicles can't go. These orange mushrooms cost $45 a kilo in town so she even saves us money.

But this isn't a mushroom post. It's an orange Tuesday post and a segue to show off Buttercup.

After hours adventuring and exploring, we returned home to a dinner, roast mushroom and goats cheese flan. Aren't they a beautiful orange?

But as I said, this isn't a 🍄 mushroom post. This is a Landrover adventure post.
