EVOCATIVE FEELINGS FROM THE RURAL ENVIRONMENT

Different Environment stand as a place of abode for an individual. Some people live in a very cold Environment while others live in tropical or desert Environment . Nevertheless, an environment where people live can either be classified as urban or rural.
The urban is know for it modernity while rural is know for it local and barbaric way of life . Infact, they are the ones you would see as undeveloped, primitive, backward and embryonic set of people.

Though this environment is undeveloped,it has very interesting features you can never find in the urban environment. It is the village or rural vicinity where you would find old structures like clay pot, wooden doors, sculptures, natural topographic lands and so many other things which would interest the eye for tourism. In the rural area, there is an exciting display of culture. These people perform activities like masquerading, wrestling, fishing festivals, and even new yam festival. They do not live in flashy houses or mansion but are contented with what they have. In a tropical rural area , the house that exist there are mainly stick houses, tatched roof houses and mud houses. That's a real interaction of nature

Beside the physical and natural structures which make the rural area unique, something also baffles me about them. These set of people really have the ability of managing relationship among each other. They have very strong feeling of love for each other. For instance, when their member (an indigene ) is sick, they try as much as they can visiting him or her. Most times, they don't go empty handed but with gifts like fire wood, garri, herbal drugs and sometimes fish too. They ensure peaceful coexistence among each and have strong respect or regard for each other and the constitude authority. In the rural area, every one see themselves as one. For instance again, when a child is seen doing something wrong, anybody correct him and discipline him , not minding if he is related to him biologically or not. That's it in the village. All the family are one

When you come to think of the Peace, love, understanding, good vibes and the mutual respect that exist between the rural people, you find the rural area a very interesting environment to live. This I have witnessed when I traveled from the city to the village. The abode was just so exciting to look upon.
Like, I was seeing several things I read in books.l was witnessing how the fishes I usually eating the city are being killed. Guess what? When I was coming back to PortHarcourt city I almost shed tears because I never see such things in the city. Till this day I jealous the rural resident and I wish to have such experience again
