I remember hearing in a personal growth workshop that we must control what we consume, be it food, audiovisual content, news, because our brain feeds on it and it does not know how to distinguish reality from fantasy, that is why our body experiences the signs of sadness or fright, according to what we are seeing, then it is like submitting ourselves to torture; something that seems logical to me and that I proved with what I will tell you next.
I have seen a Korean series called "Crash Landing on You" which has left my heart aching and I feel very sad. How do I explain to you that it is too good, but I would never see it again? Yes, I know, it doesn't fit with the rest of the sentence, but that's what I think now.

In the years that I have lived, I have never seen a story of such intense feelings, which embrace your soul until you are almost out of breath. I cried in almost every chapter, mostly not out of sadness, but because of the shocking way of presenting the facts and the characters, which are so incredible, that I honestly don't know if there is anyone like that. Imagine that the classic soap opera gallants, are louts next to the main character of this series, imagine comparing him to a simple mortal.
There is no filler, it is like taking a concentrate of emotions and values, in a scenario of subtle reality. The story takes place between North and South Korea, countries with such a great conflict, that their citizens cannot communicate in any way, no matter how much they want to, nor can they visit each other. They do not show nudity, nor unseemly scenes and you realize that they are not necessary, that trying to sell them in all content, only shows how little value the script or perhaps the target audience has. The scenes of violence are moderate, nothing raw, nor excessive. Oh and it has a good dose of good humor, I laughed a lot.
The ending left me stunned, it was happy given the circumstances, which were so complex that it could have been fatal; however, used to the fact that normally everything is resolved, I felt as if it were incomplete, feeling sorry for the lovers and wishing that one day the two Koreas would be one again... and this pain in my chest that does not go away and that is not only for the ending, but for each one of the experiences presented, which are getting through and making you feel empathy with the story. A masterpiece.
