Today is already 12/26/2020, a couple days to year of 2021. I thought my birthday today supposed to be special, half century of my life, at least have some good foods, but I end up still needed to cook and ate the usual food. Now here is the most terrible time of COVID-19, hospitals full of patients and ICU will be full soon. I rather cooked instead of take out.
My little daughter got up so early this morning to make a perfect cup of cappuccino for me. She found the Youtube video and followed all the steps how to make perfect hand brewed coffee, then she used our powerful mixer to make the milk. It’s so good that I finished half cup instantly.
The kids made my birthday cake together since morning. First, they made the cream cheese chiffon cake. Second, they made the choux cream for the filling in the middle with strawberry. Then they made the regular cream for the top and around the cake. It was so delicious. We usually only ate one piece, but ended up we ate one and half piece. We finished 3/4 of the cake. Good job, kids!
In this pandemic time, I really should not ask too much. As long as the family is around and all of us are healthy, I think that’s the best. But for sure, this is the most memorable birthday.
Seriously, that's nothing better than celebrating your own birthday with your beloved ones :)
