U.S. economic recovery
The US Department of Commerce announced on October 29, 2020 that the economic growth rate for the third quarter was 7.4%, and the annualized rate was 33.1%, setting a new record.
It means that the United States has come out of a trough.
In the United States in March, due to COVID-19, people stayed at home to prevent the epidemic, and many businesses suspended operations. As a result, the gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter shrank by 9% compared with the first quarter, which is equivalent to an annual rate of 31.4%, a record 1947 The lowest record ever.
In order to save the economy, the U.S. government has allocated at least tens of trillions of dollars, such as relief/bailout.
Although the economy recovered in the third quarter, reversing the two consecutive quarters of contraction; however, GDP still shrank by 4% from last year's level.

美国在3月，因为COVID-19的关系，民众们居家防疫，许多商家暂停营业，致使第2季的国内生产毛额（GDP）较第一季萎缩9%，折合年率31.4%，创1947年以来之最低的纪录。
美国政府，为了挽救经济，至少撒下了数十兆美元，如救济/纾困等等。
第3季的经济虽复苏了，扭转了连续两季的萎缩态势；但GDP仍较去年的水准萎缩了4%。
