Do you want to play in the NBA?

Whether it's a player or an indoor spectator, attending NBA games is the dream of anyone with a little basketball love in them. The number of people who can make this dream come true is also very few. Opportunities make sense if they are evaluated. When it is kidnapped, it is like time passed and will never come back.

One of my favorite actors lately, Adam Sandler, appeared this time in the role of Stanley Sugarman, a talent scout for his team, who gave up playing basketball early with a hand injury. Stanley Sugarman, who is constantly traveling around the country, is looking for promising young people and trying to find the best among them.

In his efforts to reveal young talents, he encounters very strange life stories. In one of them, a tall basketball player is introduced as 22 years old, although he is older. Suspecting the situation, Stanley Sugarman asks for their birth certificates and gets the answer that they were destroyed in a fire, and the son of the basketball player, who is said to be 22 at the time, arrives. His son is also said to be 10 years old but in reality his son looks older. These frames, which are a simple transition scene, were one of the funniest moments of the movie.

If you've seen Adam Sandler's movies before, you know his witty sense of humor. He constantly adds new ones to his humor shows throughout the movie.

The most attractive place is the showcases and the showcases are always dazzling. Because the best is showcased there. It would be the best option to watch the side and back streets on the way to the basketball showcase and the struggle there with a cinematic taste. But in order to do that, someone has to turn this journey into a movie and make it watchable.

Director Jeremiah Zagar did this for us with the movie Hustle and gave us the option to watch. If I were to evaluate Hustle in terms of a movie showcase, it might not be seen as a showcase movie. What is expected from a movie as a viewer varies according to people, the variability I have said will also affect the showcase.

Adam Sandler's role in the movie, Stanley Sugarman, finally reaches his goal and our scout discovers his talent. A Spanish street basketball player, Bo is also a construction worker and father of a daughter. Bo is amateur and untrained.

Stanley Sugarman has to train Bo until the audition. There are only 6 weeks and the road to the showcase from the side streets will not be as easy as it seems. As a good basketball spectator, I have always been curious about the dialogues of basketball players during the game. It is possible that they sometimes get angry, sometimes smile, and sometimes get into a dogfight. We see them watching, but we never hear their dialogue. Hustle movie offers us the chance to see these dialogues as well.

Although it is possible to see scenes similar to the movie Rocky during the 6-week training, no one is punching each other in the face here. Instead, they beat the baskets with their shots. Working with an ever-increasing tempo and getting stronger to be ready for the expected day are the key parts of the movie. Will the effort, time and money be paid for? A small mistake can destroy all sacrifices. In the competition on the field, he who can control his anger is always one step ahead.

There is discovery, there is love, there is dream, there is ambition, perseverance, work, there is a goal in the movie. So, is there any success at the end of all this? The answer is hidden at the end of the movie, but I can tell you that it's worth watching just for Adam Sandler. Let's say you didn't like the movie. They have placed such images in the last 5 minutes of the movie that if you are a good basketball spectator, you will be enchanted!
