Exploring Edys Shop for Christmas Decorations

You might have come across the recently shared videos showcasing Edys shop, where one can acquire exquisite Christmas ornaments and decorations. At first glance, I was irresistibly drawn to the idea of visiting Edys to explore their items and make a few purchases to adorn our home.

Staying in Colombo on the night of the Christmas party presented a perfect opportunity to visit Edys the next day. The shop is situated on Malalasekar Mawatha, Colombo 7. Arriving around 10 am, I found the parking area almost completely occupied.

Upon entering, the sight of hundreds of enchanting Christmas decorations—ranging from trees, toys, nutcrackers, ornaments, to candles—captivated my attention.

My initial intention was to procure a petite Christmas tree suitable for the TV table. Hence, I headed to the section featuring small Christmas trees. The prices varied between 500 and 800 rupees, and amid the options of gold and silver trees, we settled on a bronze-looking gold-colored tree.

Despite the abundance of other captivating items, we limited our selection to simple decorations, as that was all we needed.

Next on my list were Cherry branches, priced from 50 to 350 rupees each. I ended up purchasing about 6 branches of different styles for my decorations.

Exploring the upper floor revealed a fantastic collection of glassware and dishes, including Christmas-themed mugs and plates.

It was evident that people were actively making purchases in preparation for Christmas. The vibrant atmosphere at Edys reflected the enthusiasm of individuals acquiring festive items.
