A few days to go for Xmas and in my city I can see the Xmas vibes in full swing. Everywhere there are celebrations and so many fairs happening around the city. Almost every weekend there is a fair in some or the other part of the city. The good thing about this place is that it's a small city so wherever the celebrations are, it is quick and easy to reach. Also Muscat is the major city of the Oman and life is here, so almost everything happens in this part of the Country only.
Friday evening me and hubby visited the Xmas fair which was organized by one of the Hotels in the City in their garden area by the sea side. Beautiful venue and excellent set up. There were many activities for the Children like face painting, gaming zone, different characters who would pose with the children, decorating the ginger bread house and a movie area.
In these times, how I miss those times when my son was small and I would take him to all these places and have equal fun with him doing his things. Anyways this time my friend's son was there who is 4 years old, and I had a good time playing around with him.
As we entered the place we were greeted by this live band, who were singing Xmas carols. They were cheerful and kept the audience engaged with their performance.

And then there are these small home business promotions also going on.
This Culture food is one of my favorite. They make variety of organic cultured foods at home and sell.
After going around all the stalls then we decided to eat something and then go to the play area side with my little nephew. There was variety of foods, like burgers, the traditional Omani cuisines, some Indian food as well. I settled down with my traditional cup of Green Tea and a dish of salad.

That was a wonderful and a vibrant weekend. After attending the fair we visited the Hotel, because there also there were Xmas celebrations happening. I will share the pictures during the week on that.
