Hello brothers and sisters of the Steemchurch and welcome to todays's topic tagged "Benefits of Learning God's Word".

Many are in church, but are not increasimg because they are too prudent to have access to the things of God. However if you are tired of suffering, then it is important to take refuge in the word of God. In Mathew 11 vs 28-29, the word of God says;

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

You will understand from the above scripture that it never meant you should come and cry or come and weep. It stressed on learning. Learning is sometimes reacher than praying and learning has greater value than fasting. Learning is the mastwr key to living . 30 year old pile?, 5 year allergy?, the word of God said come and learn of me!

Oh you may say to yourself; I have never known what it meant to be successful or I am neck deep in debt or nothing seems to be working!. All God is saying is that you should come and learn from Him. Like I stressed earlier, learning is richer than praying. Ironically, it is cheaper too!!
Learning has more to offer than fasting and it is less rigorous too.

Come and learn....what it takes to learn is far cheaper than what you are suffering now. Therefore come and learn and you will find rest for your souls.

It wasn't prayer as it were that made steemchurch grow to where it it today, do you agree with that??

The word of God said in Acts chapter 6 vs 7 that;
> And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

It was the word of God that mightily grew that led to the increase in the number of apostles. Therefore you must come and learn. I define knowledge as discovery while I define wisdom as the application of knowledge which means that if you apply what you have discovered from the word, you will recover. When there is a discovery and it is correctly applied, it brings instant reward which is automatic recovery.
>Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:
If you find it, there is a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off.

Therefore it is safe to say that nothing sets free like knowledge. What you don't know, you cannot apply. Until you apply the knowledge of the truth concerning any subject matter, there is no discovery. I am glad to tell you that you can be absolutely fufilled. Brethren of th steemchurch, take time to find out what you don't know instead of scoffimg and mocking it.

There is nothing that knowledge can't sort out!. If there is a problem in your home, find out those who don't have problem in their homes, so they can show you what they saw that made it so. Then go home and do likewise and see the problem solved! Therr is no end to learning. You need to update your knowledge of God through a deliberate vigorois search!. For instance, sickness and failure can't stand where the knowledge of the truth is at work.

You have a destiny, it anchors on knowledge

The acquisition of knowledge is a personal responsibility. No one can know on your behalf. No ome can be saved on your behalf. So, no one can prosper or succeed for you!. Nothing happens on its own. Every object assumes a state of rest, until a relevant force is applied to it. A woman who had the issue of blood for 12 years had the knowledge of Christ, touched the helm of His garment and was free and in Mark 10 vs 47 which says;

When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!

And he got his miracle. Now you may ask "what if the light didnt come. They would have remained like that till their death!. God is no respecter of persons. The covenant of knowledge is an unbreakable one as it says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. In Job 34 vs 10, it says that every wickedness has it's roots in the devil. In fact, they call his name "The Wicked". So, God doesn't do wickedness to any man, the devil does.But how does this gain entrance? Job 34 vs 31-32 says that;

Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

Do you know the key victory, triumph and success in spite of the devil?. It is what you have learnt. God does not do wickedness! If you are overtaken by any act of wickedness of the devil, it is because you opened the way to the enemy through ignorance but now that knowledge has come, it must now go.

The learner is a winner, an overcomer, a successful and triumphant Christian any day. It is entrance of God's word that will make a god out of you. When the truth of divine health, for example gets into you in its fullness, sickness will respect your stand anyday. When the truth on divine protection penetrates your inside, all the the mischievious plans of the wicked around your life will be destroyed!. You will walk through fire as if you were passing through an air conditioned room!

It is worthy to note that He did not call them gods who come to church, or those who are involved in various activity groups. No! It's those unto whom the word of God came!. Friends, the scriptures cannot be broken. You are not an overcomer until God's Word gets into you. You won't gain control over the affairs of life until the word of God becomes real to you. Traditions of life seem to have usurped the authority of God's word. It is so beautiful to know that God's Word is so powerful! God's word will stir up the flow of divine nature in you any day!. You have divine nature deposited in your inside, that will enable you excel im all areas of your life.

Brethren, we have a common heritage, yes! But different depths of knowledge! God's word will provoke the divine nature deposted on your inside and place you on a pedestal of excellence. You then become a man/woman to emulated. It's time for the glory of God in your life to be made manifest. There are many churches where they spend time caating out the devil before service. But in Hebrew 12 vs 22-24 says that;

22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,
23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

In the long list mentioned above, there is no reference to demons. So it is our ignorance that invites them!. Those who know their God shall be strong. The knowledge of God is what strenghtens people. Tell me, how maby chapters were written about the devil in the Bible?. We read in the scriptures that Jesus suffered deviles not to speak. He made it clear to them that they were not in the same class. There was no day the devil and Jesus sat down and had a tete-a-tete. Jesus said He has laid before your life and death. It's time for you to make a choice. Choose life, and you shall live. Duetronomy 30 vs 19;

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

You must come to terms with the fact that you have been elevated from thr ordinary realm of life, to the extraordinary realm of eternal life. This very life of God wil distinguish you where you work and live anyday!. It will give you a name that no man on earth can give you. God's word is living and powerful!. It is able to penetrate any difficult situation. It is time to tell yourself,
Enough of oppressions and afflictions!. I am born to reign to step into the shoes of Jesus and live His life.
I will not go for any less. Therr is always a way out. The moment you do what He had commanded to be done, the struggles come to an end. Hosea 4 vs 6 says;

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Finally, Jesus said in his word that when we come to Him, He will give us rest. So the key to rest is learning. Every discovery brings your way an added recovery. You can live a struggle-free life. When you come to Jesus, you will find rest and you wi discover secrets that guarantee rest. Come and learn the way to rest or you remain restless!. Until you respond positively to the word of God, you keep struggling. Friends, never mind what is happening!. Mind what is happening!. Mind ehag is written, and all the happenings will begin to respond to your discoveries.
