Most of our life long friends are from our school time and Childhood times. I am not sure if everyone agrees to this or not, but in my circle at least I have this observation. Our Childhood and School days are so much fun and care free days. We never have to worry about where the money will come from, what do I have to cook today, I do not have to go to office. All that I have to do is study and play. Though I will not say that in today's time also exactly this is the scenario, as nowadays the kids are so much burdened with expectations. But the best part of our those times are our friends. On one day we fight and the other day we are again friends, such is the innocence of that age.
I still have very good bonding with my School friends. Now we are all scattered in different parts of the world but quite a few we are still connected and also thanx to social media that now we can find long lost people also here. The world is getting smaller and smaller with technology development. After I left school, I moved to another city and settled down, for sometime I was still connected with my friends over letters and phone calls and sometimes I used to visit also. In those days there were no cell phones so it was all manual effort. All my friends also came for my wedding. After that we started losing connection with each other as we got busy in our lives. Gradually in those few years time everyone got married and started settling, once in a way we would still talk to each other and meet up. But now after WhatsApp and Facebook it feels like we never went away from each other and we are all connected with each other again.
Some of us also meet regularly and have some good fun moments. Everyone has gone through their life experiences in different ways but still when we come together we think about those good days which we used to spend in fun and laughter and do so many naughty things like bunking school, giving lame reasons of not attending school and getting caught, our school picnics, making excuses of studying at each other's house and then having fun, all those first crush that we used to share with each other.
Life will never be the same again but still no one take away the memories of those days from us. Our parents knew that we were on mischief but they would give it a pass unless it was something serious. My dad would always tell me, live it to the fullest and best as these days are special and they will never come back again and that's so true. Today also when we sit and talk about all those fun, we laugh out loud about the craziness that we did.
Those days are some real good memories of life.
