I miss childhood candies the most 😜

Today i want to talk about some childhood candies.

So, as I sit here reminiscing about my childhood, my thoughts are filled with sweet memories of the candies that were an integral part of my childhood. Growing up in India, I remember enjoying a wide range of candies that were both delicious and affordable. Aam Papad, Anar ki Goli, and coconut candy are just a few of the childhood candies that I miss the most.

These are the am papad from this gen.

Aam Papad, a tangy, fruity candy made from mango pulp, was one of my absolute favorites. The candy is usually made by sun-drying the mango pulp and then shaping it into thin sheets or cubes.

I remember eagerly waiting for the arrival of summer, as that was when Aam Papad was most readily available. The candy was a delicious way to beat the heat and satisfy my sweet tooth.

Another candy that I loved as a child was Anar ki Goli. This candy, which is made from pomegranate seeds, has a hard exterior with a chewy, fruity center. Anar ki Goli was the perfect candy to enjoy on a long car ride or while sitting around with friends.

I would often spend hours with my friends, discussing our favorite Anar ki Goli flavors and trading candies.

Coconut candy, with its sweet and nutty flavor, was another childhood favorite of mine. This candy is made from shredded coconut and sugar, and often comes in small, bite-sized pieces.

I remember spending hours watching the candy being made at local markets, and eagerly waiting to taste the finished product. The candy was a delightful treat that I loved to indulge in after a long day at school.

As I look back on my childhood, I realize how much I miss these candies. They were not just a source of sweetness, but also a source of joy and memories. These candies were a part of my childhood, and I will always cherish the memories associated with them.

Every Candy from my childhood

While many of these candies may not be as readily available today as they once were, I am grateful for the memories they have left me with. And who knows, maybe one day I will stumble upon a shop that sells Aam Papad, Anar ki Goli, and coconut candy and relive the sweet moments of my childhood once again.
