Working :

• The sensors for SOX contain two or three sensing electrodes.

• The diffusion of gas analytic take place through the filter membrane and then finally through the electrolyte on the surface of the sensing electrode.

• Adsorption of analyte gas molecules on the surface electrode.

• Oxidation of analyte on the surface of the sensing electrode and liberation of electrons.

• Desorption of the product from the electrodes surface.

• Diffusion of the product away from the reaction to the electrolyte.
