In the time of ChatGPT, there is a doubt about what really generates value for each individual: is it information? Or is it more important that the source is not an AI? I believe that no one would like to know that someone is gaining something for free without effort with AI content, but isn't there also merit in a person bringing interesting content using an AI tool?
"Build bridges instead of walls."
I bet you think the above phrase is positive, but if I said it was said by Hitler, would you still think the phrase is positive? Probably not, the feeling against Hitler's actions makes everything related to him something bad. That's exactly what's happening with people discovering some content made by AI - the bias against AI speaks louder than any positive point.
Nobody complains when a cellphone, car, etc. is made by machines instead of humans because what matters is the product that the person needs and not the means that were used.
Of course, no one needs to agree with anyone, but personally, I have no problem consuming content produced by AI as long as it's something of my interest. After all, what really matters in a social network isn't finding interesting content for engagement?
