You can only choose your course of action when faced with difficult circumstances in life; you cannot stop them from occurring. For example, as a sailor, you are not responsible for stopping storms or billows from beating because they are sea-related natural occurrences. It's your duty to find your way through it, though. Similar to this, facing and overcoming challenges is what makes you successful in life, not the lack of them or temptations. Although you cannot control when difficulties may arise, you can control how you will respond to them.

One of the things you have to realize is that your greatest potential is supposed to come while you are facing difficulties. In reality, the fact that you face hurdles should serve as a sign that you can conquer them and that you are succeeding; therefore, take advantage of these obstacles to your advantage. When light finally appears in the dark, for instance, it will be the best. To fight darkness, no matter how deep, all you need to do is meet it with light. You should be aware that difficult times will arise, but you shouldn't give up easily; instead, you should take a tall stance and confront the situation head-on.

Often, your greatest achievement is getting through life's tunnels. Naturally, this will help you see the light—which is, as they say, at the end of the tunnel—rather than giving up. You might not be able to reach certain heights in life if you don't succeed in overcoming obstacles.

An adept navigator is not shaped by placid seas; rather, they are forged by turbulent and raucous waters. In life, the more difficult the circumstance you face, the greater the reward you will receive for conquering it.

Your future circumstances will be determined by the way you handle the difficulties of the present. If you view obstacles as opportunities, you will respond to them favorably and use them to your advantage to move up the ladder. Never forget that you are incredibly capable of handling any scenario that comes your way.
