One more year older and life goes on. Yesterday was my birthday and I had a wonderful time with my family. There have been multiple celebrations going on since I am back home. My mom wanted that I celebrate this birthday with her and she stays in another city, so I planned to travel to Ahmedabad where she and my sister lives and be with her for the occasion. But then my Son and hubby could not travel due to their work reasons, and they too wanted to celebrate. Before I left they too celebrated it in Mumbai. Now my friends are still waiting to celebrate :-) Today I travel back to Mumbai and then will catch up with my friends for their share of celebrations.
Yes, it does feel a overdose of celebrations and in this matter I am a shy person so it becomes very overwhelming for me and at the same time I just cannot be enough grateful to the Universe for bringing so much love to me. These are the moments of validation of how much I am being loved and cared for by my family and friends.
My day started with a big surprise from my Son and Hubby who sent flowers and cakes for me. Both of them sent individually so I had 2 cakes and 2 flower bouquets. The night before some of our family friends had come home to bring in the birthday, which was another celebration, and they too had brought a cake for me. There was overload of cake and the best part is I do not even eat it, but for everyone's respect I did nibble a bit, and then I had to distribute it to whoever wanted to take it.
Morning then my mom did some birthday rituals which we do it on any auspicious occasions. After which my sister left it on me how I wanted to spend my day. There is a flower show going on in the city, so I opted to visit that. The place was far, we went there and by the time returned back home it was late afternoon. The flower show was amazing, I will soon share the pictures of it. Then a little rest time and later in the evening we had a family gathering where my cousins were to also join us for a family dinner.

Such a wonderful time I have had with all these celebrations. I feel so blessed for all of this and cannot be grateful enough for all of this.
