Greetings fine Felines and Hoomans of Blurtlandia!
It's the last Saturday of the month of May, and that also means the final Caturday of May... and even though it is cold and rainy today, it means that summer is right ahead!
Hey! Fill my food dish, Hooman!
We cats love summer because it is nice and warm, and with long days there tend to be lots of sunny spots around the house.
Nothing better than to take a nice long nap in a "sun puddle!"
Of course, I'm not really all that happy about about this cold wind and rain...
ENOUGH with this weather!
My fuzzy housemate Smudge doesn't think a lot of the cold, either... her old bones (she's 14) get a little achy when it's cold, so she mostly curls up on a fuzzy blanket and dreams of sunny days.
Meanwhile, we're always hopeful and happy whenever we encounter occasional pet-related posts here on Blurt!
Don't wake me up unless you have FOOD!
I know Blurt is still a pretty small community, so hopefully the volume of pet content will grow as the overall number of active contributors grows.
For now, we're just putting our little pawprints here, and are glad to be among the first all-pet blogs here!
