I have been away from here for a long time, but since it is not only Caturday, but also a new year, I thought it might be a good idea to start posting again!
Contemplating the World
Caturday...
Caturday is my favorite day of the week!
For those not familiar with "Caturday," it's an old web tradition of sharing pictures of cats on Saturdays... something that was started close to 20 years ago.
Somehow, cats seem to be the "unofficial mascot" of the Internet... and I'm cool with that!
New Year — Plans, and All That
Don't really have any firm blogging plans for 2023.
That said, I do know that building a success in blogging and social media depends as much on showing up as it does anything else.
So I guess my "soft" goal for the moment is simply to show up more, in 2023!
Of course, nap time is super important in the life of cats! But I don't think "taking more naps" is really a New Year's Resolution... that comes all by itself!
Meanwhile, perhaps there are other people with cats who are active on Blurt?

I should make it a new year's resolution. I've been sleep deprived for too long.
There are. I've seen a few Caturday posts here and there. I don't think it's as active as on Hive, but it might get there eventually.
We're going to be bringing communities to Blurt, so of course, I'll be making a Caturday community here as well once that's all setup.
I'm hoping there will be enough cat-related content to be worth it to fire up my @caturday.curator on Blurt.
