Throughout history, cats have been treated with high respect by many civilizations. But it's not only about their cuteness, but also about their mystical abilities, which often have been associated with gods and supernatural, spiritual beings. Many believe (including myself) that cats have the ability to see the unseen realms, sense energies, observe auras, and communicate with energetic beings.
I mean, after all, we all have seen cats act in “weird” ways, staring at the wall or perhaps jumping suddenly as a reaction to something we can not see with our physical eyes.
Living with cats is a magical way of living. I'm sure all of you who are cat owners (or rather owned by cats) can agree.
They have a calming presence, or at least most of them.
I truly believe that those ‘crazy cat ladies are the ones, who really have the most peaceful lives after all.
The best fact, I have about cats, is about their purring.
Did you know their purr is resonating between 25 and 150 hertz; these frequencies, are associated with healing, tissue regeneration, lowering blood pressure, reducing stress, can help heal broken bones, and many more magical properties?
Have you ever been ill, and a cat would just not leave your side?
It is because they know, they can help you speed up your recovery.
I truly believe we should have service cats in hospitals, and especially in mental health institutes, to promote well-being.
Cats are also the masters of living the ‘ZEN’ life.
They know how to savor every moment, get ‘sun drunk’ by spending hours lounging in the sunshine, napping all day long, and always observing life with an eye, while being mostly unbothered.

Can you connect to your inner feline? Can you embody more of your inner Feline Zen master?
I invite you to spend some time, observing the world around you. Not judging, not trying to change. Just observing. Noticing every little detail, every subtle move.
Be as present as possible.
Much Love, Petra 💜
P.s.; The black cat on the first pictures is @lilithdevonrex , @ultravioletmag 's cat

Thank you 🙏
I love cats, and I love this post. Nothing better than to vindicate the great value that these wonderful beings have in our lives, the unconditional love they give us, which can even reach the voluntary sacrifice of their own lives for ours, I'm talking about at an energetic and spiritual level, because that's how it happens. Greetings and blessings.
Thank you 🙏🏻💜🐈⬛
Here in Ireland cats are treated like weeds or vermin. Farmers have feral cats for 'vermin control' but they don't appreciate them and often will dump boxes of kittens on doorsteps like mine who have to pick up the pieces. I have neutered a village colony and provided shelter and food for them only to have them destroyed by property developers moving in. It seems the west have a dimmer view of cats than the east.
I've had cats since I was born. Only one at a time until now. I have 5 official residents and 2-3 seasonal visitors.
WoW, thats crazy, didn't know. . .
I wish i could adopt all those kitties 💜
Yeh I'm officially the 'mad-cat-woman' of this area now. Been trying to educate too. The standard diet offered to ferals is ham and milk the 2 worst things you can feed a cat. Then they complain when they're all sick and spreading diarrhoea everywhere. It's an uphill battle. Been trying to get a law put in place to stop them poison baiting feral cat colonies, which is what they did to mine. It's now illegal but they still do it.
You are doing a wonderful job. Well done. Thise cats will be your protectors forever
That's a nice thought, thanx. xx
