I've always wanted a dog, “man's best friend”, but living in a condo makes that nearly impossible. So I managed to get my hands on a cat instead. My cat is more than I could ever wish for and in many ways, he's like the dog I've longed for. Latte shares similar behavior towards dogs. Is he half dog? We will never know. You might be wondering, what is this lunatic talking about? Let me answer that with a little story and a picture, try and imagine this dog with Latte's head.
One evening, my family finished eating and Latte (our cat) was outside frolicking. Then I hear growling, hissing, and a few cat screams. I go round the back of the house thinking Latte got hurt, he is a bit of a wimp. I couldn't have been more wrong. I saw that another cat had shat in our back garden and Latte attacked him for creating a stink bomb on "his" property. I couldn’t have been more proud. I have re-named my cat, Latte the Guard-cat. I didn't realise until now that cats are just as protective as dogs. Why should I get a dog when I have a Latte?
