When it's nice outside, the Hoomans sometimes let me explore the outside deck around the house.
I don't go very far, because we have big dogs, coyotes and bobcats in the neighborhood. Sometimes, they'll come right up to the house, even in broad daylight.
That's no place for a pampered housecat!
But I do like to take a quick turnabout, sniffing the air and smelling the smells.
After that, it's back to my comfy bed inside!
In the meantime, I am going to create the #blurtcats tag! Any other cat lovers out there?

It doesn't hurt to go outside once in a while.
We have wild animals around here, too. I've seen some foxes. I know there are skunks, too that hang around. Cats usually play nice with the skunks, unlike dogs, who always manage to get sprayed whenever they meet a skunk. There are also ground hogs. We put food for the cats and it attracts all sorts of animals as well as the cats. They're all barn cats. We don't have any animals inside the house unless you count insects and spiders.
