I always wanted to be a judge due to the fact I enjoyed analyzing and resolving conflicts among my friends, so it was not surprising that I pursued law as my first degree. What surprised me, though, is that I am now self employed, managing my own company. This is the journey life takes you on as you mature from a young child with idealistic dreams to an adult with real-world decisions to make.

The driving force for this thrilling adventure came mostly from God, but I have also been motivated by other women who have succeeded in knocking down the artificial barrier that attempts to hold us down as women. Despite the challenges, the transformation has been fascinating. I have advanced from being someone who works to a career-driven competent, coached and guided others, built productive teams while making individuals who have challenging choices to boost efficiently.

I find myself inspired by women such as Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, the one individual to hold a post multiple times in separate Nigerian administrations, who persevered to reach the highest administrative rank at the World Bank, fought valiantly for the highly anticipated title of President of the World Bank, and had the guts to reorient the Nigerian Finance Ministry and consequently the country's economy.

It is true that women in the world of business face particular obstacles in their quest to climb the ladder of success. One of the biggest challenges is maintaining a healthy work-life balance. It can be challenging to balance being a great wife and mother at home with meeting your professional obligations. As a result, you need to be highly motivated at work, have great organizational abilities, and be able to take setbacks.

But if you're driven and have the correct focus, you can achieve everything you set your mind to. If you have confidence in yourself, you can overcome fear, take on obstacles, and achieve where others fail. "Be positive in everything and then you can accomplish whatever I want," is the advise I would give to women who work in the business world.

Greetings😊
